Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference
between a Canine Cinema® Film
and a
Canine Cinema® Photo Album?
A Canine
Cinema® Film
is a live action film created by using elements of video footage,
still photos, music and effects.
A Canine
Cinema® Photo Album
is a film created by
using elements of still photos, music and effects.
Both of our films make wonderfully
unique gifts for any occasion. Birthdays, Anniversaries,
Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Just Because...
Our films make excellent Pet
Memorials, as well.
What is the process
of making a Canine Cinema® Film
or a
Canine Cinema® Photo Album?
For your Canine
Cinema® Film, we ask
that you create a list of your pet's unique mannerisms or behaviors,
as well as a list of your favorite shared activities. You'll need
to gather 8 - 10 still photos of your pet, too. If you have digital
photos on a CD, please make sure they are in either .jpg, .psd or
.tiff format. Otherwise, we will scan and color correct your printed
photos at no extra charge. (We edit in only as many as will serve
the artistic integrity of each specific film.) We can also incorporate
any existing footage that you may already have on VHS or mini-DV,
for an additional charge.
We schedule a daytime
appointment to come out to your home and shoot about a half hour
of footage. After the raw footage has been captured, the editing
process occurs at our post-production facility. When the film is
complete, you will receive a DVD of the film and, if requested,
a CD of the film in Quicktime format for uploading the film onto
a website.
For your Canine
Cinema® Photo Album,
you'll need to provide us with 20-30 still photos of your pet. Once
again, if you have digital photos on a CD, please make sure they
are in either .jpg, .psd or .tiff format. Otherwise, we will scan
and color correct your printed photos at no extra charge. (Please
note that we edit in as many images as will serve the artistic integrity
of each specific film.)
How much does it
cost for the two different types of films?
A Canine
Cinema® Photo Album
costs $175.
A Canine
Cinema® Film costs
$800.
*Additional charges may apply for Canine
Cinema® Films,
if they require excessive editing time and/or travel time.
Please note that
a deposit of $175 is required before we begin

film.

How long does it
take to get my film?

time for a Canine
Cinema® Photo Album
or a Canine
Cinema® Film is two
weeks. Rush jobs can be requested for an additional fee.
When your film has
been completed, your photos, music (if supplied) and DVD will be
shipped to you via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.

Can I personalize
my film?
Absolutely. We can
personalize title screens and end credit screens with any text you'd
like.
How long are Canine
Cinema films?
Canine
Cinema® Films and
Canine
Cinema® Photo Albums run
2 1/2 to 3 minutes in length.
Can I choose my own
music?
Yes, we can use a
song from a CD that you already own or we can purchase a song that
you'd like to use, on your behalf.
In the event that you have no specific song choice, we'd be happy
to choose a piece that best serves the imagery of your film.
What type of format
do you shoot in?
All Canine
Cinema® Films are
shot digitally on a mini-DV camcorder and in Broadcast Resolution,
which means the digital images will always remain crystal clear
and will never degrade over time.
Can I order extra
copies of the film?
Yes, you may purchase
additional DVDs of your film for $12 each.
We archive our films for one year, in the event you may want to
purchase additional DVDs at a later time.
